Ah those sssssss's. When I checked out a strolling do wop singing group at the local county fair last summer they had no amplification and no hissing sibilants. The soundstage was very narrow tough, compared to "modern" playback expectations.
Long wet "S"'s sometimes cause me to tighten up on the SRA if I'm feeling spunky. (I'm running the Techno arm on my Gyro SE.)
Of course, some say this is impossible, VTA improvement in this way is a myth, but what is an impossibility to a mad man? BWAhahahaha. Perhaps if I called it a tone control......naw, nobody likes those either.
