RE: technics SL 1200 power supply "upgrade" = snake oil?

You are absolutely right! I would qualify you as a stupid ass, though.

All my measurements were made at J1, the input to the voltage regulator, and J3, the output of the voltage regulator. This was stated succinctly in the first paragraph of my post at the link, Measurements 1 .

If you want a schematic, get your own damn schematic. I'm not your mother.

You are about as stupid as anyone I've ever met and I absolutely refuse to explain one more thing to you. If you don't like my measurements, make your own measurements. If you want any further explanation, learn how to read my posts; they're self explanatory. However, it's obvious you have no experience whatsoever with a Technics SL-1200 Mk2 if you think the voltage driving the regulator is only 20-volts. Since you have no experience with at Technics SL-1200 Mk2 and you don't have a clue as to how it works, why are you even participating in this thread?
