You make some good points, most fan boys gloss over the bearing noise, but your statements fall down by not addressing persistence of vision, a small point, but you can't see what you describe as visual proof.
You can check to see if power is effecting your play. Wait until late at night, when there is the lowest demand on your grid and listen . With less trash in the power feed, a lot of the hard core listen at night because of the cleaner power sounds better. Of course, the hardcore know what plug select, and why.
Me, I stay on casual street. I am just here to know the better paths should I choose to make a buying decision someday, not to find a path and start chasing. I don't even listen enough to form a lasting illusion of what I have heard for any kind of buying decision power supplies. EVen if possible, the best one can achieve is illusion, so pick your fantasy and enjoy.
A brief look into the subject will quickly prove the merit of clean power. How far to take it , is between you, your wallet and your desires. All the best, the preachy tone is just low skill, nothing personal.
