Thanks
The two upgrade - Deep Groove and the Mitchel Technoweight would run about $380.00 and would seem to be something that could really transform the stock NAD. Not sure where I would get an acrylic platter for it as the same store, musicdirect, only sells the glass platter.
Right now I am using a Skylan Turntable Bass and I could still use my ternder cups or whatever they're called. Look like ice cream cone shaped with a spike on the end - very heavy.
I could then take the Mitchel upgrade over to the new AN TT2 down the road. I really was impressed with the TT2 and i get the impression from everyone it is really the "one" to get out of the two "affordable" Audio Notes.
Then my upgraded decked out NAD would probably be worth keeping in the eventual second room - if I ever get a house. LOL. Teacher salary check --hmmm better marry a doctor.
As an aside
Audio Note has such a HUGE step in price from TT2 to TT3 - why don't they make a 3 motor version of the the Systemdeck based TT2 2 motor?
I assume the Number as it applies to turntables is number of motors and not "level" in their level system.
