No way - this is not Nyquist nor is a wave - just flat lines.

0 0 0 0 0 0 0 0 0 0 (silence) - A single line at the orgin

2, -2, 2, -2, 2, -2 (very quiet wave) - Two flat lines one at 2 and the other at -2

10 -10 10 -10 10 -10 10 (full volume wave) - Two flat lines one at 10 and the other at -10.

Thats right and this waveform can be reconstructed. The mechanism the selects this sine wave out of the mass of bits coming through as a digital signal can calculate the minimum and maximum values and the phase of the wave based on the fact it knows what the frequency is that its searching for!!! The problem with 2 points or less is the the reconstruction process can not properly identify the frequency it is reproducing!
