Welcome Licorice Pizza (LP) lovers! Setup guides and Vinyl FAQ.

It's not like vinyl lps extended to 20 kHz either!

With proper filtering it seems reasonable to me that CDs are more capable than vinyl at reproducing harmonics out to 20K.

It makes sense to me that if inproper filtering, ie. sharp cutoff, may be audible - at least some studies have shown it to be true. But thats really here nor there because vinyl is already rolled off way below this point (though it doesn't have to be).

Smoother filting seems like it would yeild usable hi frequency harmonics out to 20 khz with CDs at little cost. Getting such frequencies onto and off a vinyl LP seems unusual and expensive.

Give me rhythm or give me death!
