Thanks very much for all of your responses. For the time being, I think I'll keep the TD13A tonearm on it and see what I can get out of it via other tweaks. So far, so good though. Last night I did some more work on it and, man, it is sounding very respectable already. And I've still only got a no-name cartridge on it!
