This cartridge slots right into your budget, is low compliance so it'll work with the arm (I calculate an 11.14Hz resonance frequency although I may not be doing it correctly) and sounds the business on rock and jazz (not too bad on classical but not my favorite). You should be able to pick one up for less than retail ($899).
