Hi,

Glad for all involved that the Lenco has easily "beaten" all of the well regarded tables you mention.

What's the criteria for all this relentless "beating" you speak of ?
Not just that, but beating ---"in every way".........

I've got two reservations to pass along... Don't be too victoriously conclusive about your results if :

1.) A comparison is made between an expensive, stock (not 'modded') highend table and the sweat-equity reward of a bargain Ebay find that's tinkered with by a do-it-yourselfer.
Yes, your Ford runs better if you change your own oil. It doesn't make your Ford comparable to a Bentley, though. Or a Chevy, for that matter. It seems better cause it's got new oil and you were personally involved.
Most of all, it excludes you from the objective column.

2.) There are statistical problems inherent in samples of hundreds, even thousands .... Should we assume you've got those kind of numbers of inferior Linns, Vpis, Nottinghams, WTTs and Garrards to back up what you say... or that you've somehow "beaten" the need for that kind of thing ... ?

My point : It's great to be enthusiastic. It's tedious to beg the question with ludicrous "proof".

C'mon, we'll read it anyway, without the all the overcooking and the hype.
Plenty of room for good explanation and extrapolation of idler-drive systems. Kindly spare us the one-upsmanship thing, though; it's just not needed.
