It is a clever system.I think the Garrard 30l is still the big shot for sound though. I have an oil bearing unit.
The 30l in a heavy plinth is a really musical deck. I don't know what the magic is, because the 40l sounds more modern and the Lencos certainly offer up stiff competition, but the 30l is still my listening deck.
