RE: Audio Technica AT33EV vs Dynavector 20X2L...which to purchase?

Had two 20H's, never had a 20L or AT, but FWIW, the 20 was very refined and smooth, with highs that could be stunning. Seemed very well balanced. Also had two 10X's, and the 20 was similar, just more refined, better at everything. The weight seemed a bit much for my Nott Interspace arm, so not sure I got the best out of it, but loved the thing.

Went to a Lyra Dorian, back to a 10X5, now breaking in a Delos. Find the Lyra's better top to bottom, but at times, the 20 just sounded so sweet. Freddie Hubbard's trumpet on Herbie Hancock's 'Empyrean Isles' is an example I keep thinking about. The highs just soared, sparkled. Moments of amazement. Good top to bottom balance. Wouldn't say syrupy tho.

Let us know your results, if you have a chance.
