My wife just pointed out an NPR story about a new (?) release to come on July 31 of a concert Monk performed back in 1968 at the behest of a high school student in Palo Alto, CA. It is said to have been "professionally" recorded, so on the basis that any previously unreleased material by him is of value, I just preordered it on vinyl. Keeping my fingers crossed on sound quality.
