Currently use an Accuphase AC-1 that has been refurbished by Expert Stylus. Enjoy the sound, and cart has alot of life left. But have bee, thinking about pursuing some other options. Have the opportunity to acquire a Kiseiki Blue Silverspot. Wondering if it really is worth the effort, and when the time comes to rebuild if the original voicing can be retsined. I understand a Soundsmith rebuild with ruby cantilever would change the character. But are there other viable options like ES or Garrot? Or is the magic of these carts really lost, and irretriviable. If so, then am I better off pursuing a low hour Koetsu Rosewood from the pre owned market? Your thoughts, insights, and opinions are appreciated. Regards Mister Pig
