I started checking everything again and like you found out the block with the air bearing was not level but when I looked carefully at the spindle from the side towards where the O rings are in the manfifold it looks like the is a little off center so I put a level on the spindle and it was level. I relocated the wire to the front with enough slack to not affect the arm, I tape it down and releveled the tonearm with Hi Fi News Test record using blank spots, when I went back to listen I found out the same as you zero surface noise and balance was dead center. This was a major improvement over what I thought was a very nice sound already, I have never heard a table/tonearm/cartridge sound this quiet on surface noise and music sound so nice, it just flows.Thank You for the help.
