I'm glad Marc's happy with his new table, but I do feel a sense of loss. For some time now Marc has carried the torch for Well Tempered turntables, and while I know next to nothing about them, I always enjoyed his championing of a product with a conspicuously different design philosophy -- and from New England to boot.

Now the WTRP has been consigned to the dust bin of memories, that twilight realm of former girlfriends, old cars and distant friends that no longer command our present affection. Alas, I see Marc's old WTRP loaded on a raft of ash timbers to be pushed from the shore and set aflame, it's valiant record of inspiring listening sessions to be nothing more than fuel for the last curls of smoke that rise from its dieing embers.
