I am not looking for customers and I am more likely to be a buyer than a seller. I believe most people are honest, especially those who are likely to own products I am interested in. I have lived my life trusting people until they prove me wrong, and I have very rarely been burned. My decent attitude as a seller is to describe the product fully and accurately, sell it at a reasonable price and if anything that I have described is not accurate, accept return. However, I am not here to hold the buyers hand, do his research, fret over the cost, second guess his decision or otherwise become part of his life. Thats all I expect from people I buy from, and again, I have never been burned in 100s of purchases on Ebay. If the "high end community" is not as trustworthy as the great unwashed of Ebay, then perhaps you should look at that problem rather than expect full price, full warranty, no questions asked, high end salon service from an individual selling used stuff. It seems people are demanding service that they are unwilling to pay for, and then complain that their butt wasnt wiped after they crap on the seller. Its just stuff. If someone screws you, go after them, but dont make me pay for your paranoia or cause me to change my thinking to be part of the "community".
As I write this, I am thinking to myself that my words are perhaps too harsh. But that is the deficiency in the internet, expressing the emotion in the thought. I am not angry about some of the posts, just tired of some of the whining.
