ET II, if the tonearm is mounted to the suspensionthe moving mass guarantees (not asks for)less than optimum performance. On some suspended tables, the arm can be mounted seperately from the suspension (but preferably not on the plinth unless the motor is VERY quiet). Additionally, the ETII is a rather high mass arm best suited for stiffer MC. I have used various Tangential arms with suspended tables, but always in this way, except for a Thorens 125/Rabco mating back in the day. I eventually mounted that arm seperately as well. The ET II would be a better match for a Teres or a Redpoint, neither of which is suspended. If you haven't checked out the Redpoint you might want to.As for the Oracle upgrade vs Teres. Who knows? I prefer unsuspended, heavy platters, partially because I prefer tangential arms. You might not, especially if you can't isolate the table sufficiently. All three, Oracle, Teres, Redpoint are excellent tables with different strong points. They all 3 look good, as well (though in different ways). You may be able to hear/play with a Teres and/or a MK V, if you haven't done so already it would be advisable. The Redpoint is newer and scarcer. But you could always fly to Arizona!
