I had a talk with Alfred before all of this, and he only rewires with the Cardas cable. I would prefer a choice of silver but he won't do it. Also he wants to do a bearing replacement and his whole service comes with a price tag of $1200. I am not against spending money, but if I am going to want to spend that much I do want a run of silver wire, perhaps the 1877 or Audionote Kondo or UK wire.
