The Ortofon website has the compliance at 13, not that high, which the Gordon Holt review states is erroneously low. I assume that's what you're concerned about. Holt does not state why he thinks the figure is wrong so that's just an opinion. If Ortofon is correct, a 10 gram arm with the 11 gram cartridge weight has a resonance of 10Hz, in the Green.
You have to contact Ortofon before investing in a new arm.
An SME III with the damper and a full set of counter-weights, if you can find one, would cover both eventualities.
