Re: Anyone DIY A Stylus Guard?

I use the bottom of an old beer can (fold the lips down and then attach with a string) -- I found a highboy works best.

The advantages are cheap, easily found and replaceable, and best of all, I can add different amounts of fluid (usually old beer) and slide it up and down my tonearm until I find the best location to dampen arm resonances.

The result: a warm almost liquid sound pours from my turntable...
