Well it is an experiment, so we will see. What I have found is all of the cartridges I use are low internal impedance, and therefore like a 50 or 100 ohm load. Specifically this is meant to be used with a restored Ortofon MC3000. I paid $400 shipped for it, so its not a large gamble.
