...been doing its thing for most of that time. The only change was a new stylus at @850 hours or so. I say "most of the time" as one of the 1600's control chips blew due to a power surge. Another inmate, Nick M, replaced it with a chip from a mechanically damaged (tonearm) SL-something that I gave him. During the interim, I used my R&B Series SL-1015/Syntec S-220 and put the M97xe on it. That is also a great table and has 78 but the auto features of the 1600 trumps the 78 feature; for me, anyway. The SL-1015:




I use a receiver (Pioneer SX-780 currently; Onkyo TX4500mkII; Technics SA-5470; Marantz 2238B hardly used, do not like it; Sherwood 7100A needs work) but those get switched up too often to say that I have a permanent system. Note that, except for the 7100A, they all sound so close that I prefer the TX-4500 the most just based on its appearance. The TX-4500mkII:
