I ordered a couple of backups for my Music HAll MMF-5 20 years ago and last year when I finally needed to replace the original belt, I was greeted with two brittle strips of rubber that fell apart when I touched them.

Next time, I'll fill the bag with nitrogen and hopefully delay the degradation of the rubber. Sigh.

Hopefully the sorbothane shock-absorbers are still available.
