I put a Rabco arm on a Moth Alamo S (rebadged Rega P2). The Rabco picked up too much motor noise, so I tried to decouple the motor by building a pod for it out of PVC.
But I could never get the pod heavy enough and the motor alway moved relative to the plinth and platter.
So I know whereof you speak. But the XA is rock steady to my ears. Speed stability is ever bit as good any other TT I've ever owned and better than some.
The blissful counterstroke-a considerable new message.
