Not completely, unless you are thinking of the traditional 3 Pt sprung suspended skeleton innards of a typical sprung table where the platter, tonearm are sprung inside a case and plinth, or attached to the plinth and it bounces along with the arm/platter, depending on design.
Many tables do use springs in a fashion, in the feet. The Technics SL1200 and some other DD tables have the springs in the feet, others use rubber bands (some models of Avid) to suspend the main deck from its support, still others use sorbathane balls of some sort to suspend the top and bottom plinths (ala Music Hall MMF 5.5 - up) so yes, suspended is still used, just not necessarily using springs, though if you look at the crappy Crosley cruiser, they use springs to a degree for the entire plastic plinth which includes plastic platter and arm.
Heck, even REGA uses rubber feet as a form of isolation but not suspended though.
