I still have an Ariston RD-11s (cousin to Linn LP12) purchased as a demonstrator when I worked at a hi-fi shop in the mid 70s. I use an SME3009 (with some headshell weight) and Shinon Boron cartridge.

Suspended belt drives with MC carts makes a great combo!
