The filtration included with the Forsell turntable, purchased new, from the manufacturer was inferior. Adding several stages of higher quality air filters helped, but the truth is, the Forsell arm kept binding up and required disassembly/cleaning every few days for it to keep running. This is why he replaced the Forsell.The Rockport and Tube Research work fine and don't require such high maintenance. My thoughts were that the Forsell arm clearance may have been too tight, or maybe since this was one of the first off the line, the clearance may have been increased on later models? Only DR. Forsell will know ...
