We certainly agree about Shelters. I have the 901 and it's just as good as my research led me to hope for (ie, staggeringly good).But I wouldn't put a Shelter on a UP-4, or probably any unipivot below a Graham 2.2. To get full performance from a Shelter or top Koetsu you need a very stable arm. Even my gimballed arm took a big leap forward when I added a stabilizing mod. Compared to that, most unipivots would lose control of these lower compliance cartridges.
