Japan Victory Company from 1984...

...any good? I saw these at a (semi) loc.l Salvation Army for $30. The c.binet wasn't horrible, not mint either. The drivers looked in unusually good shape. They were about the size of an old Snell J... 3-way with a 10" woofer, fuse protec.ion and mid and tweeter adjustments. I c.uldn't demo them. There were ac.ually 3 sc.eened driver openings (plus the woofer), but I THINK the 3rd was a port, but possibly a super-tweeter.

What made me think twic. about these was ac.ually the affixed spec sheet on the bac. c.binet - it stated "flux densitity" (whatever it was), magnet struc.ure, sensitivity for eac. driver, aluminum voic. c.il on the mid, and a bunc. of other things. It just seemed odd bothering to go into suc. detail. Maybe they ARE dec.nt?

The paper stated "Suggested Retail $299 ea." Err... O.K.

Of c.urse I forgot the model number, but if anyone is familiar with J.V.C. from 1984, I would apprec.ate any input.

Thanks!
