Re: Vintage vs. New cassette decks?

Thanks for the most well informed post I could ever ask for!

The "#1" cassette-well door on my Pioneer CT-W355R jams all the time, so I usually have to rely on the #2 well. Since I am not making any recordings onto cassette, and strictly playing onto my iMac to transfer to CD-R, I have switched to my freshly renovated late 70's(?) Sony TC-199SD.

I'll hold onto the ugly Pioneer just in case I need to record something in the future. It has the HX technology.
