Here is an ad I recently posted. To anyone who has never posted an item up for sale, but is considering it, keep a few things in mind:
1 - Be honest about the condition and admit whether you know what you are talking about or are a novice.
2 - State the manner which you will ship the item.
3 - Don't charge insane shipping fees!
I feel that I covered all of those points. And for all of you bidders new to eBay, always ask questions of the seller or you may just get burned! Someone wrote me an eMail asking me the condition of the heads and I was honest: I said I was no tech expert, I never owned a reel-to-reel before but they appeared to be free of corrosion, but I could not open up the plastic to check. He was appreciative.
Ebay CAN be your friend! Just hunt for those honest sellers...we are there, just a little hard to find at times.
