OK, I have been using my Kenwood KR-6030 for several days now and I've been getting a distinct odor from the unit. It isn't an electrical/ozone odor. It was in a smoker's house for the last 20+ years without getting much use. I am thinking it is just dust & nicotine burning off of the parts. Is this a good assessment? If this is the case, what are the cleaning procedures for these things? Is there a simple spray I can use?
The unit works great otherwise. Last night I was folkin' out to The Hollies' "Distant Light" LP.
