Damn! Thought I had a great piece...until I plugged it in! The "stroboscope" lit up for a second then nothing. The piece seems 100% except for a little part of the power cord that might have been nibbled by a mouse! I opened it up (I am no expert...barely a novice, actually) and didnt notice any broken parts or loose pieces of plastic. All soldering seems to be intact. There is a little fuse that appears to be just fine as well.If nobody here has any ideas, are there any inexpensive online repair shops? The places around me are way expensive and I dont think the unit is worth more than a $40-50 repair.
If you know of a glitch or common prob w/ this unit, please describe in the SIMPLEST terms! Thanks!
