OK, I just picked up an old Sony TC-199SD for $2.50. I would like to integrate it into my system but want to clean it as well as I can beforehand. What products would be the best to use? Are alcohol and cotton swabs ok? Should I remove the shell and clean out the interior, or just worry about the play/recording heads?
I will be replacing my more recent model Pioneer CT-W355R with the Sony.
