UPDATE: Recapping old loudspeakers. Question on cap types...

The 88's are completed! I was not about to invest in film for a teenage son to crank these up, but I did do poly for the under 30uf and stuck with electrolytes for the 30 and 50uf. I am testing them/breaking them in with my living room system and old Magnavox (fully restored and upgraded) console stereo amp and I might say these 88's have never sounded better that what I am hearing now! Nothing wrong with the treble or the bass here. Yes the 77a are considered a little better and they are next. I do prefer sealed speakers so I may keep them for myself if the recap does them as well as it did the 88's.
