RE: Year small signal transistors became high quality

First silicon transistors were not great and some become noisy even from 1970 as documented on the internet. The Pioneer SX-1000TW was noted for noisy transistors after guessing 5000 hours use. I am sure late 1970s solved this issue with better transistors, may be around 1974 though.
