Remember, it is an estate sale and they are bid items. The estate sale providers are hired to provide the client with the best prices they can get for all items, not just the audio stuff, everything in the house. That said, that in most cases, all items over $50.00 are bid items and sold to the highest bidder on the last day of the sale. When I price audio related items, at our sales, I use eBay sold items (if none have sold, I use for sale items), national Craigslist search, AudiogoN, AudioAdvisor and Orion Audio Blue Book. Unless someone has a must have attitude, my guess is that very few of the more expensive items will sell at the asking price, but for at or near half of the asking prices.
If I was doing that sale, I would have most of those items hooked up and working, so potential buyers would know about the working condition. I think that would be a fun sale to attend.
