RE: Were any manufacturers near you?

From my place in Central CT Levinson/Madrigal was 15 minutes away. Went to bid at the original auction when Mark lost his company and name. Tried Dumpster diving when Harmon moved the facility to the Boston area (120+ folks out of a job). Too late.

Cello (1985-2000)was a half hour away - my buddy came across a warehouse with their remains 10 years back - fortunately the first person he told about it was me - a VERY nice playground.

Then there was Bozak; ADC (Audio Dynamics); Scully (dated the Sales Manger's daughter in college - forgot to get a lathe out of the deal). Plus a bunch of smaller companies back in the 60's

Currently Krell; Neumann/Sennheiser (US distribution); Viola labs. Levinson engineering is back in Orange.
