Of all my vintage amps I think this one is the best. For power the bid Duce is king but of all my 6V6 and EL-84 amps I love the Pilot.

The darn things are wired like an explosion in a wire factory.
I rewired one of mine and it has some noise now. With those pictures I know I can get it quiet again.
BIG TIP.... Replace the rectifier Octal socket!!! Its not a typical size but Jim has them in stock. Also check the wires at the socket. I own three SA232's and have bought several for friends in SE Asia. ALL those amps had badly damaged octal sockets.
