Michael thanks for the suggestions. I expect to receive the amp on Friday and give it the weekend. My favorite amps at the moment are both Fisher(X-101-C and 30A) so I'm hoping that this one gives me at least the same type of performance. From all the comments of yours I've read in the past I'm expecting it.What's your thoughts about using a 5V4GB in place of 5AR4 to correct voltages that were too high on 120v line voltage with the 5AR4?
I did not do the restoration but will discuss your comments with the fellow who did and get his thoughts and then go from there regarding further mods.
