Eico HF87 buzzing

Have been enjoying my 87 since I got it a few months ago. Works beautifully, except for one small issue. When I turn it on after it's been off for several hours/overnight there is a buzzing that comes through the amp(not the speakers). With no music is quite evident. The odd thing is that after the amp has been on for 1-2 hours the buzzing goes always stops and it doesn't occur again until it's been off for awhile. I've tried tightening the transformers down but that hasn't helped. I'm not really bothered by the buzzing since it eventually stops but don't know if it's the beginning of a bigger issue. The person I bought the amp from recapped all but the ceramic caps, and added a surge suppressor to the input to the transformer(his words).
