RE: Scott or Leben (or old v new)

I haven't. But that Leben will run you $2000+, right? I would say if you got a reputable tech who knows his way around the Scott you should be able to get it up and running for a lot less. And there is something really special about that vintage iron. Just fyi, I do restored Fisher 400 and 500C receivers, and mono block Heathkit UA-1's(EL84 based), W-5M and W-7's, all completely restored. So yeah, I am biased, but I would take good care of the Scott. I'm sure it will treat you right for many years to come if pampered.
