Classic gear from yesteryear; vintage audio standing the test of time.

RE: Rant/Paen to Vintage

I quite see your point of view, Loads of audiophile designer looks, but no real progress. I still have my main rig and all but the speakers (Ted Jordan JX92S) single full range units, goes straight back to the 60s and 70s. Can I suggest for that hard drive full of music you look at a free download called a Vortexbox and couple it with a Squeezebox Touch. That's what I've done and it gives me access to 128Gb of music for my garage rig (HK910 & B&W 70s speakers.)

Use the cost effective useful new technology to gain easier access to your music on the quality old rigs. Screw the designer audiophile rip off boys they are just peddling designer bullshit with no substance. (BTW if you need some help setting this up I will gladly guide you.)
Enjoy the music.
Dave
