jptzenith,
It's interesting how the room and electronics have that look of student digs- willy-nilly on the floor. This was obviously taken somewhat before Eastwood became a billionaire!
I'm wondering if the little four knob unit on the left is an EICO HF-12 integrated in the silver finish? I have a silver one of those but have never seen another- they're all the goldy brassy faces. Next over and hidden looks to be a tuner and then the turntable- so plain looking it might be an AR? I don't have a clue about vintage speakers- Wharfdale, Klipsch?
A really good period sensation- white socks and pompadour. Wife Maggie for some reason- perhaps the platinum hair- looks more like Eastwood's mother,..
I've been thinking awhile of a vintage mono system based around the EICO: Dual 1019 with Grado 78 Cartridge / Scott 330D tuner (tube mono, 1958) > EICO HF12 > and some kind of efficient- probably modern speaker. I have to say among the best FM I've ever heard has been tube mono!
Cheers,
Bambi B
