Greetings- Just recently, Rick hooked me up with the correct "inverted" foam surrounds for a pair of "The Advent Loudspeaker" that I refoamed for a friend of mine last month. The Advent woofers were a bit strange to me at first with their use of that "masonite ring" or what ever it is. Rick's kit uses a slightly different (and much easier) way of aligning the voice coil. He supplies you with a 30Hz test tone CD which you play through the speaker being refoamed, which essentially centers the voice coil while the glue is drying.I've used his kits several times, mostly on JBL larger format woofers, but also on Vifa , Scan-Speak, and others as well.I have never had a problem with any of his kits.
