nicolas -Thanks for your reply. you are correct, I had over looked the 100 ohm pot being grounded, which had me confused at first in regard to the cathode resistor/cap orientation. I have since installed a 220 uf Nichicon Muse capacitor in parallell with the 250 ohm cathode resistor and I'm happy to reprt that there is a very noticable improvement in mid-bass and bass information. I had also contemplated putting two cathode resistors in, instead of the shared one. The concensus in the past has seemed to be split pretty evenly whether or not this will improve the sound any.
