Re: Ohm model F2 speakers

Greetings- I was fairly young at the time (1971-72 / 15-16 yrs old) but from what I remember, the Ohm F was the only speaker in Tech HIFI on Angell St. in Providence that had deeper (but not necessarily better) bass than the JBL L300 Summit. We got friendly with a salesman there and we were allowed to audition all of the speakers after hours, sometimes till 1:00 in the morning. I lusted after those L300s, thought that I would purchase the L100s, but ended up purchasing a pair of Micro Acoustic instead. I was very impressed with the Ohm F, but it was out of my price range at that time as well. Enjoy those Walsh drivers. Regards, wpod
