I'd go with the Genesis 1+. It's an 8" two way with a 1" inverted dome tweeter. Excellent sound.

The history on the Genesis is that it's a spin off company from EPI (Epicure Products, Inc) and the Genesis 1 was their first product and basically an improved version of the EPI 100/Epicure 10. The Genesis 1+ is a later and further improved version of an already very good speaker.

Brian Levy was associated with Genesis back then and knows the products and history even better than I do. Ping Brian and ask him about the Genesis 1+.
