AR-2ax worth getting only cabinets?

I have a chance to get gutted AR-2ax cabinets and wonder if that is worthwhile project for a rebuild?

I'd either try to rebuild like the classic speaker if I can find similar drivers or do a restuff and redo a Xover to match the box with newer parts?

Any words of wisdom if this is a worthwhile project or a fools errand? Are similar drivers available?
