Re: Wharfedale speaker history

Good info... I didn't Know "The Radio people Ltd" was Warfdale related.
I bought a set of RPL speakers in the 1980's from a used audio dealer in Colorado just wanting to get rid of them. Custom made in Japan for one of his customers.
I couldn't move them to arizona so my brother kept them for 10 years then cleaned house. A friend of mine took them to save them from the land fill.

I don't know if the cabinet side panels are sand filled like some of the original warfdale's.

I have also found a company in Florida selling Warfdale product.
